number of applications submitted: countless
number of managers spoken to: around 6 or 7
number of group interviews attended: 4
number of rejection postcards from UO: 2
number of jobs i have gotten: none
i hereby declare myself to be unemployed for the rest of the summer, and most likely the school year, until i graduate. the summer is going to be over in less than 3 weeks anyway. i'm sick of the job application project and how fruitless it has been. my parents can just yell at me everytime i ask for money. i'm used to it, so it isnt that big of a deal anymore. no, i'm not going to elaborate on what happened because it is a terrible, ridiculous story. if you think you REALLY need to know, then you can ask and i might just explain.

as for happier things, yes, i've still been hanging out with the french. although, i really can't remember too many things that went on between the jonas brothers and now.
thursday was my last day of class. it was a little bittersweet. i think i got an A though. we didnt even do anything that day. we just ate al lthe food people brought, which was a lot. this girl, meagan, made a cake which was covered in frosting flowers. it was so professional looking. while we ate we did evaluations. woohoo.
friday i picked up melanie and we went to audrey/claire's house to watch movies and swim until claire and sarah got home. sofia and delphine came over. that night we took the frenchies to the rivercats. i personally hate going to the rivercats' games because everytime i go they loose horribly. fortunately they only lost by 1, and it was a lot of fun. i dont have pictures right now because i forgot my camera that day. i know, WTH. after we all went to my house for the night. brian stopped by to meet them all, even though he really just stood to the side and chatted with me for about 10 minutes until he had to leave.
saturday was probably a more interesting day in my book. i went shopping with sasha, who i haven't seen in about a million years. it was a lot of fun to catch up with her and see her. luckily neither of us bought anything. usually she buys a shitload and i end up with nothing because i'm too cheap to spend the small amount of money i have. in the evening the sarah, melanie, claire, audrey, and i went to ford's for dinner and then met kevin and colin at the crest for the french film festival. we saw "the grocer's son" (which i can't translate into french). overall the movie was good, but there were a few boring parts. it was very beautiful. seeing as my parents weren't home, i naturally wanted to either stay out as late as i could or have someone be over as late as they wanted. i called endless people, luke, brian, julia, and no one could., until i was suprised by a text message asking if brian and a few of his friends could come here and possibly stay the night. i was hesitant as the list was annie davis, andrew kwong, aria, and eric perez; all people who it could be potentially awkward and embarassing to have in my house. but i gave in and they all came over. andrew drove aria home around 3 and brian drove annie home. then andrew, brian, eric and i went to sherry's while brian and andrew ate and acted gay. eric just passed out on the table and i sat and laughed. we went back to my house and andrew went to cory's. brian and eric slept on the couches and i went up to bed at around 4:30. i can't even remember staying up that late ever.
now i'm off to tahoe with sarah, claire, and of course melanie and audrey. i am glad to get out.
