Fashionably Featured
I'd like to inform everyone that 4monthsatsea's Long Hair Don't Care Tanks have been featured in an outfit post by Stacey Belko on her fantastic blog devorelebeaumonstre!!!! I personally am an avid reader of her blog and really enjoy her everyday accessible, do-it-yourself, grungey sort of style. She is definitely just a real, regular person with great taste showcasing looks everyone can recreate and/or be inspired by. I am also super envious of her LOOOONG hair (clearly a perfect candidate for a Long Hair Don't Care Tank)!
If you haven't gotten your tank yet click the link on the right side of the screen! It will take you to the online shop. Sizes are limited so HURRY!!!!!!

Hipster Colleges
Blair pointed me towards this pretty interesting article listing the 10 Most Hipster Colleges. Of course both her school, UC Santa Cruz, and mine, Portland State, make the cut.
Hipster culture is a definite guilty pleasure for most. It is completely ridiculous and yet you can't help but be completely fascinated. Fanny packs, grandma couture, chain smoking, indie rock, boys who look kind of like girls—I'll never understand my fascination, but I admit it exists.

Land of the free, home of the brave
My immediate thoughts on the 4th of July are summer heat, bbqing, and fire works. Of course with fireworks comes my favorite, SPARKLERS!!!! I decided to break out my camera and experiment with some long exposures. I've seen people do this "light-writing" all the time and figured I should try it out myself. Now, I like to think I have an eye for photography (at an above amateur level but by no means a professional), but when it comes to technical aspects I'm more towards the clueless end of the spectrum. I usually just use my basic understanding of camera functions and mess around with settings I know about until I get something desirable. (Knowing more about how to use photoshop now is also a bit helpful) My friends and I took a bunch of shots and some of them actually turned out pretty awesome!
I hope you all had a fun and safe holiday!
