I've been busy. The Winter term has offically just ended (for me at least) and so that means I'll get some time to relax before the hectic Spring term begins. I'm anticipating stress, frustration, and anxiety while getting through the Sophomore Review, but it will all be worth it once I pass (and i WILL pass). Since I've been either busy/lazy I'm just gonna recap what I'm hyping right now.

1) Nirvana and Kurt Cobain. I think I've watched every Kurt/Nirvana documentary on netflix instawatch.
2) California. I'm flying home on Wednesday now and I can't wait to head down to So-cal. This is a feeling I've never experienced. I want to see/smell the ocean, feel the sun, and eat a fucking In n Out Burger! I want to wear sandals and even shorts.
3) Pancakes. I never used to be a big fan of the carb-loaded breakfast food but ever since we took Sereane and Lenae to iHop for the first time I can't seem to stop wanting some.
4)Juliet, Naked. It is a novel I'm currently reading by Nick Hornby. So far it's alright and I'm mostly just glad I even have this time to read for pleasure.
5) Cleaning. I want to clean everything before i leave so that when I come back it will be fresh and not a mess.

The Nine to Five

Sorry for the lack of updates. Not too much has been happening and I've been really busy. I suppose that is kind of a paradoxical statement. Mina was here this past weekend. She came to visit Sarah, Elise, and me and we had our fair share of adventures. I'll blog more about that trip when she posts the pictures.
But yesterday I did start my new job. I am now an employee at Gap Kids/baby at Pioneer Place Mall! From 7AM-12PM we had training. That mostly consisted of us sitting in the back room reading from these company manuals about nonsense and then watching a cheesy interactive video about the Gap Card. Some girl called in sick during our training and I picked up her shift.
Here is what I've learned so far:
1. The Gap Card is thee best company credit card with thee best benefits (heavy sarcasm). No lie, it has great benefits if you are a loyal Gap customer, but the video we watched made it sound like God himself would only recommend a Gap Card and no other.
2. You fold A LOT. And that is an understatement. The job pretty much is greet customers when they come in, help them if they want it, which they usually don't, and fold things that are already folded.
3. Only the cutest people come into Gap Kids. They are either cute children, dressed super stylish (accompanied by parents of course) or they are little old ladies buying gifts for their grandchildren.
4. If you like music associated with Disney then you should go into a Gap Kids store, or work at one. They play the Jonas Brothers, High School Musical, Demi Lovato, and then other kid favorites like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
5. Adults like to come into Gap Kids and see if they fit into the biggest sizes because everything is so damn cute!!!!

BUSY! BUSY!

This week I've really begun to feel the ups and downs of being in school, trying to balance fun and responsibility. Thursday was especially busy and my outlook was not very good because I've been sick all week. (My second time already since I've been in Portland!). Luckily things turned out a lot better than expected.
Here is how Thursday went down, in list form, of course:
8AM-9AM Environmental Science Lab: I actually got my ass up this week to make it to my lab. I was afraid my group would be mad at me for missing the last 2 weeks but to my relief they were not! We got some assignments, decided when to meet next, and left. Best part is there is no lab for the next 2 weeks!
10AM-10:30AM Academic Counseling Appointment: After lab I rushed back to my room to blow my nose 100 times and make myself a little more presentable for the public. Ironically, both times I've met with my academic counselor I've been sick. But the appointment went well. I LOVE MY COUNSELOR! He is very cute and his name is Ben. I told him about how I've decided to stay a Graphic Design major but add a Writing minor (consider this a formal announcement of my decision). He was very enthusiastic about the decision and helpful. I did find out that it will be very unlikely that I get out in 4 years but that's ok. I'm going to be a Graphic Designer!
12PM-1PM Psychiatric Phone Appointment: My counselor from Sacramento and I had a phone chat. I'm making progress and I hope to keep things going.
2PM-2:30PM Gap Interview: I had a job interview at Kids Gap!!! The manager, Jill, seems pretty eager and I really hope I get the job. The interview went well (as far as I can tell) and they are going to call me this week. Keep your fingers crossed!

It's Halloween this weekend and I'm hoping my sickness will be gone in time for some fun on Saturday. I'll take lots of pictures so look out for that!

So lately my life has been pretty uneventful. I'm counting down the days until I move to Portland and school starts. I'm actually pretty eager to start going to school, although I'm sure as soon as I start having homework and tests I'll say the opposite. Life is kind of boring and in a stand still, but something exciting is that I recently added a bunch of new music to my iTunes library!

The trifecta kicked off the birthday celebrations today with a little lunch at Burgers and Brew. We had to celebrate early because Sarah is going to NY for a week! Lucky! Festivities started off on the right note with a killer homemade card, MGMT's new album, a new owl necklace, and People crossword puzzles. I've been watching all things NY on tv, from The Real Housewives to Gossip Girl, and am SUPER excited for Sex and the City 2 to come out!!!

Kids are returning home from college, the sun is shining hotter, and the sunglasses/shorts are coming out. I'm very happy to finally be done with my semester at Sac City. I just want to have hella, hella fun these next 4 months before i leave for Portland and my new life. As my friend Sarah said upon her return "Sacramento is our oyster!". Let the summer fun begin!

1) Has anyone heard the song "Little Freak" by Usher? Well go listen to it and particularly pay attention to Nicki Minaj. Then go watch the Virginiaca skit from SNL with Blake Lively. Is it just me or do they sound quite similar? I'm not sure why this is important at all, but i thought it was interesting.
2) The weather in Sacramento has been crazy bipolar this week, especially today. Stupidly, i didn't bring a real jacket to school today and was scared shitless when i heard the rain pounding on the ceiling of the portables. Luckily it subsided, and was actually sunny, long enough for me to exit to my car.
3) I need a job and some money, but its not like this is news to anyone.

Last night i went to UC Davis' Freeborn Hall with Eden to enjoy the music stylings of Passion Pit. In addition to hearing one of my current favorite bands play live, i also had the pleasure of discovering Mayer Hawthorne, dancing the night away, and realizing all the things i love about live shows. Now, i've gone to my fair share of live musical performances. From arena concerts to seedy bars/clubs and hardcore to top 40 pop, i've experienced quite the variety. Each show is special (although i've been to way too many to remember them all), but some stand out for certain reasons. I thought i'd go through a list of things that make a show memorable and noteworthy to me.

1) Danceability: one of my top favorite things to do at a show is dance. now i recognize that not all the music i like really allows that but there are some other factors at a show that might stop one from shaking their groove thing. for example, if no one else is dancing. I love a show where i leave drenched in sweat, euphoric from endorphins, and with cramps in my legs. The soreness and exhaustion the next day should be a rewarding reminder of the fun i had the night before.

2) Crowd Connection: you know when you're in math class and the teacher has been talking for hours, but when you look down on your paper there is a huge page of doodles and you have no idea what is gong on? yea, well a concert should never be like that. I like concerts where the artists are great entertainers and engage the crowd. That doesn't always mean cheesy shout outs like "everybody screeeeam!", but rather that the crowd feels emotion and care from the performer and is interested in watching, singing, dancing along. I've definitely been to shows where i find myself more interested in watching the girl two rows back pick her nose than watching the band. That would be a concerts' equivalent of a full page of doodles.

3) Good Sound/Mixing: obviously this is important. I mean, you paid money to here the band play their music and not some unrecognizable static. I hate when you're at a show and you feel like you're in your own never-ending version of the Tell Tale Heart because all you can hear is the kick drum and nothing else. Now, this is usually not the performer/artists' fault, but it definitely a contributor to the enjoyability of the concert. (for sacramentans: know that the boardwalk is notorious for shitty sound)

4) All Ages Shows: Yea, i'll admit i complain about the 13 and 14 years olds running around screeching and wearing to much glitter and hair spray, but i will also admit that i was once one of them. Honestly a concert is about the music and i don't feel that anyone who is a genuine fan and wants to enjoy their fave band live should be limited by age. After all, it is just a number, right?

5) Cost/Venue ratio: what i mean by this is how much the ticket costs compared to the size and quality of the venue. Shitty, tiny bars and clubs should range around $10-$25, depending on the artist, and arenas can range from $30-$100, depending the artists and arena. (Arco Arena should not charge $100 for a ticket, but sadly can.) People might feel i'm asking too much, but really it is important. Live music is one of the 3 things i'm really willing to spend my small amount of money on (clothing and food with friends being the other 2), so you can imagine that i've weighed the pros and cons. Trust me. It's not worth it to pay $45 to go to the Boardwalk to see Paramore. And by see i mean watch with your eyes as Haley Williams is confined to a 15 ft stage and listen to her drummer's kick drum as her lips move. Yea, not worth it.

Spring Break List

This past week was my "spring break" which really kind of meant i did what i usually do minus go to class. Although, i have to say it wasn't too bad of a break. I got to spend some unexpected quality time with one of my best friends (which did prevent me from really sleeping in too much) and i did appreciate the 4 days of not going to classes. I only wish that i might've gotten to go to my beach house.

talkin' about my best friends

i'm blogging when i should be showering.

most should be aware of the fact that i chose to leave art school last semester in order to move back home and figure shit out. well, while i figure shit out i've also found that life in sacramento, post- high school, can be quite lonely for a girl like me. while most of my closer friends are either away at their own institutions of higher learning, are still in high school and/or already have other established lives in sacramento i find myself spending a lot of time without human company. i say "human" because i have a few good friends. there are four of them and i'd like to tell everyone about them.

1. Spartacus: dear ole' Sparty is my macbook whom i would die without. (not even exaggerating.) i almost never turn him off and he connects me to my other far away friends with his wireless internet capabilities. he also allows me to write these blogs, listen to music, and create mindless manuscripts and illustrator documents with all of my spare time. we have only been together about 9 short months, but we are the best of friends.
2. Frederick: Frederick William is my cellular telephone device. he replaced Jamal, my previous phone. Frederick and i have a love hate relationship. i only tend to love him when he rings a lot. it is not his fault. he is not in control of any of these circumstances. we are working on our relationship.
3. Sven: sven and i have had our affair for quite some time now. he goes with me just about everywhere and has endured many a long nights in the frigid cold glove box of my car. tougher than nails, and trendier than any other german disco dancer you've ever seen, Sven is my beloved ipod. however he is full and i am kind of looking into getting a man who can better handle my large music collection.
4. Hovno: last but not least is little Hov whom i have not really hung out with in awhile but starting next monday we will begin our formal efforts for becoming reaquainted. although my love for his namesake, Dave and the PWT's, has diminished i will always love my baby Hov. i can't wait until we will once again make beautiful music together.

all around P-town

last weekend i visited Portland, OR to see my friends Sarah, Elise, and Jonathan and to see PSU, which will most likely be my future home come this fall. Portland is really an interesting and beautiful place. the streets are as immaculate my dentist office and there are various pockets of wilderness. PSU is nice. i like how it is very urban and integrated in to the greater downtown. food carts, Powell's Books, and Stumptown coffee are also really fun. although i didn't get to go to any house shows, i'm very excited to experience more of the musical culture when i live there.
Highlights of the trip (in list form, duh):
1) seeing Starfucker unexpectedly, for free, and dancing on stage. (seeing Elise)
2) awesome chill time with Sarah in her dorm room. i love our good laughs and miss them a lot.
3) seeing An Education with Sarah.
4) guest hosting Jonathan's radio show.
5) Mad Libs and the Olympics with Sarah and her very normal friends. Mara gave me a sweet fake tattoo.
6) taking forever to remember there is no sales tax. (OR's one superior characteristic over CA)

today i finished my 2nd week at sac city college and i've come to realize something. city colleges are full of characters. i suppose that 4 year universities are also full of characters, but they are quite different. here are a few that i've observed thus far.

1. The Baseball Douche-bag: he thinks he is the royalty of the school. he is not too tall, but very buff and carries around his plastic baby bottle which contains he daily protein shake. they travel in packs (including taking classes together) and usually have two first names like Justin Bobby or Timmy Smith.
2. Girl with Bad Extensions: she may not be smart but she is going to try her best to be pretty. that is why she decided to get extensions. so that her douche-bag bf (often a baseball player) can more easily pull her hair when they have sex. she usually comes with a fake tan and an extensive amount of brightly colored eyeshadow. watch out. you don't want to hear her scream when you step on her Juicy book bag.
3. The Ghetto but Good Person: let's not lie to ourselves. ghetto people tend to either scare or intimidate us (usually both). that is why these ones are such a sigh of relief. they may not speak proper english but "theys is helluh nice and stuff cause they don't play people and shit". they always come to class, they are usually on top of their assignments, they genuinely take an interest in talking to you. these are probably some of my favorite people at city college.
4. The Old Ass Annoying Woman: she has a rolling backpack and weird mosaic colored glasses frames. she always comes to class out of breath and takes up 3x more space than anyone else. this is not because she is fat (although she very well might be). no, this is because she has to put her rolling backpack somewhere easily accessible, drape her coat and scarf somewhere, and have space for her color-coded binder-folder-notebook for whatever class. and finally, she never shuts the fuck up and makes a lot of irrelevant comments that no one wants to hear.


i'm sure i will come across more throughout this semester. all i can say is, no wonder they have a whole tv show about community college.

WOOHOO!! for another year. 2009 started out on an upswing from the end of 2008 but at a certain point it began descending. i'm hoping that now that i have to write new numbers on everything that my luck will make a turn for the better. based on the fun time i had with Nick, Johnathan, Jonathan, Becca, and Albert last night, i have a pretty good feeling about Twenty-Ten.

things i predict will be "like so hott this year" just off of feeling:
1)White Boys with Beards on Bikes: usually i prefer my boys with smooth faces but recently i've been seeing more and more beards that i like. of course i'll have to burn all of these boys the Natalie Portman's Shaved Head CD so they can learn how to properly manage their facial hair.
2)Low Maintenance Hair: i love having really intricate hair that everyone loves, but i'm tired. i want to wake up and just let it be.
3)Out of State Schools: however much i love my beautiful California, we are fucking broke which does not go well with trying to get into a state college. i'll be attempting to do my research for a sweet deal in a nearby state.
4)Abstract Painting: i've always tried to have my own personal take on my paintings, omitting and adding elements as i wish, but because art college recently killed all of my creativity and has left me dry and yearning for inspiration i feel that maybe if i just attempt to put paint on the canvas without a specific vision i will come up with something.
5)NBA Basketball: as if my NFL enthusiasm wasn't enough, the new, young Sacramento Kings have inspired me to possibly take an interest in basketball again. it could be fun to have yet another team to be excited about.

here's to a great year (and decade! so exciting!) ahead! ya'll go nurse those hangovers now.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because it is socially acceptable to walk around in costume. i love costumes. the cool thing i've discovered about "college halloween" is that there are multiple days of opportunity to celebrate the occasion and thus multiple costumes are needed. if only knew that sooner because i would have come up with better things, but i can't wait until next year. my costume #1 was a french person. my roommate and i were both French for a little gathering in our dorm. we even made fake cigarettes. ha. on actual Halloween i was "Little Gold Riding Hood", although i wore the hood for about a good 2 minutes before it bothered me and i ditched it. but it was cool to be wearing basically all gold and lots of glittering make-up. my roommate and i headed down to my beloved Cal and went to a frat party with Spencer's roommates. drank, danced, played beer pong. it was a great time!

Types of Halloween Costumes I Love:
1) Group Costumes: when a group of people's costume go together (esp boys cause that takes effort, thought, and camaraderie). for example teenage mutant ninja turtles, the power puff girls, the beatles, etc.
2) Corresponding Costumes: differernt from group costumes because i'd say this is usually groups of 2. it is esp cute for couples to have them. for example John Lennon and Yoko Ono or a Tri Lamb and an Alpha Beta (something i actually saw two frat brothers dressed as. cute.)
3) really great celebrity/tv-movie character costumes. it has to be semi-elaborate and thoughtful like including not only clothing but also classic associated objects and accessories. examples: my roommate was GoGo Ubari from Kill Bill. Abe was Michael Jackson complete with sequined jacket and single glove, hat, (borrowed from me) aviators, and dance moves.
4) simple costumes done in an elaborate way. you can totally jazz up the simplest things like color crayons or sports players.

Tyes of Halloween Costumes i Hate:
1) store bought, poorly translated costumes. you know the ones that are like a character but portrayed really poorly. i just can't deal with their generic, terrible portrayal of things. it ruins them.
2) the common lingerie and animal ear combo. reality check: this is not a costume. you might as well loose the animal ears and be a victoria secret model. actually say you are giselle or heidi klum and i'd give you points.
3) "trend" costumes. like when one year every single person is the same thing. i'm pretty sure the joker is one of those. it is cool if you do it right but half assed jobs are unacceptable. i thought that would be michael jackson this year but i only saw one.

my mind is racing with words, sentences, phrases, everything , just like a blog. so what must i do? i must blog of course! this will be my final post before i have a fabulous weekend of a day in the city with my mom and treasure island with sarah and kevin. i will of course post about that and want to leave it up forever in hopes that it will immortalize all the good times!

Thing #1: i was talking to my little sophomore friend Ryry (he goes to Jesuit High School) about homecoming and we were discussing how and why i thought prom was not the best dance of them all, even though it is always the one people make the hugest deal. this got me thinking about how kids in high school supposedly have these beginner relationships in order to prepare them for more adult relationships when they get older. let's face it, high school relationships are totally bizarre. most of the time they consist of a boy being attracted to a girl and vice versa, and then said boy asks out said girl. they hold hands, awkwardly PDA a lot, go to date dances, and see some movies. although i did not exactly have any technical relationships in high school i did observe them and learn a lot. i learned that the average high school relationship is all a huge scam, usually for some sort of status and that most people cheat on their bf/gf. if someone tells you they are in love with their high school beau, chances are they are lying or ignorant. how these high school relationships prepare anyone for meaningful, adult relationships in the future, i have no idea. (i apologize if you have had a good, meaningful high school relationship. that just means you aren't a statistic.)

Thing #2: here is a popular saying you might know "when you assume you make and ASS out of U and ME". i know it is bad to assume, because that is giving into stereotypes and profiling people and things. but i have to say, in my experience most stereotypes and assumptions are true. after all, that is where they come from. i'm here to tell you that sometimes it is ok to assume and draw your own conclusions. i'm going to even go so far as to say it is good. example: i wear a star of david necklace given to me by my grandma. now i can already predict the thought going through your mind. you're jewish? why yes jimmy, i am. most of the time when people see the star and ask me that i snap at them " no i just wear this because i like to get made fun of". no. i actually am jewish and i think that it is a safe assumption that a person wearing a star of david around their neck is jewish. and if the person isn't but you make that assumption, said person should not get mad because that is a logical assumption. the person instead should stop wearing the necklace if they feel so offended to be constantly mistaken as a jew.

Thing #3: i've been reading a lot of fashion blogs which is fun because it inspires me to experiment with all of my clothes for the winter to dress fabulously. also, they always have the best pictures of themselves. yea i am a narcissist and like to take numerous self portraits so it gives me tips and new ideas on how to do it in in more interesting ways. i'll leave you with one.

most of the time in my Intro to Graphic Desgin class we are asked to create type-based concepts. that means they use only type, or letters, to create the graphic. that got me thinking about words and language and all of the words i love. i talk a lot (if you know me, you know this is super true) so naturally i love words. but there are certain words i love more than others. you might have heard me say them. i am going to list them (in no particular order).

1) DELICIOUS: highly pleasing to the senses, esp. to taste or smell. this is such a fun word! just say the word and you must know what i mean. it has so many wonderful sounds and a wonderful meaning. it can be used to describe the obvious food, or other things such as an experience, person, etc.
Example: Today i went to the city and saw the most delicious boy walk out of H&M; naturally he was hand-in-hand with another male.

2)SWAGGER:as defined by urbdic, poised, sassiness that can't be touched. It may be in the walk or it may be in the talk, but there is no doubt it means you own the room and you have that natural charisma. all very true. anyone worth describing is described as having swagger.
Example: While on a relaxing vacation, Jay and B stopped all of those walking the streets of Rome with their immense, intense swagger.

3)HELLA (HELLUH): An intensifier, with a grammatical function and usage similar to "very" or "really". It's a contraction of "hell of", and may have originated in Alameda County, California. It was definitely in common use in Berkeley public schools as far back as 1979. (urbdic) basically it is something commonly used by and associated with northern california youths, although my father has dropped a few hellas. if you go to norcal, don't be alarmed to hear it and don't complain about it. instead you should pick it up because it is such a fun word.
Example: The girl from San Diego was hella trippin because she tried to say that norcal sucks.

4)POOP: i think you all know what poop is. basically i use it a lot in place of fuck, shit, or damn. it is a universal curse word which makes cursing something seem less harsh. it can be variated to poopoo, poopy, etc. try it out sometime.
Example: Girl 1: you totally just ripped your project.
Girl 2: POOP! now i have to do it all over again.

5)INEBRIATED: Exhilarated or stupefied by or as if by alcohol; intoxicated. as a teenager i encounter, and you probably do too, many inebriated people. i will admit to be occasionally inebriated myself. it is a fancy word which gives the appearance of intelligence. it is also waaaay more fun to say than drunk or high or even intoxicated.
Example: Max of Chester French arrived at the in store performance in his usual, inebriated state.

obviously i use more than just 5 words a lot, but these ones are quite fun. try to work them into your vocabulary and try them out. i think you will more likely then not enjoy it. another fun thing i like to do it either shorten everything to one syllable or add the suffix -ie to the end. it works best with nouns.
Example: oak=oakland, berk=berkeley and foodie=food, sodie=soda

because i have a lot of time where i just sit on my computer i decided to compile a list of my top 10 Favorite Male Fictional Characters. this was inspired by me watching Freaks and Geeks (big surprise). they are not in any particular order because i can't seem to pick which one is the best. i also had a lot of trouble narrowing it down to just 10, but here they are.

Bill Haverchuck: i begin with Mr. Haverchuck simply because he inspired the entire list. Bill is from the tv series Freaks and Geeks and is one of the friends of main character Sam Weir. Always the voice of fairness and reason, Bill is pretty much your average geek with huge, thick glasses, a cheesy smile, and an enthusiasm for science fiction. it is hard to describe to one who does not watch the show what exactly makes Bill so amazing. i suppose it is just that is odd habits and strong convictions create some of the funniest scenarios on the show. although he is not necessarily the main character, Bill is its star in my eyes.

Jim Halpert: although i totally support PB and J forever i would definitely like to have a piece of this guy for myself. why is Jim so cute? it probably has something to do with his simple white shirt-and-black-tie uniform, perfect smile, sarcastic cracks at michael, and shenanigans to terrorize dwight. just thinking about this makes me want to go watch the office and swoon!

Jason Bourne: one of my favorite men of action. naturally when considering the list i thought of James Bond, but Jason Bourne has a dangerous appeal that mr. bond just does not have. not to mention Mr. Bond gets plenty of ladies so he doesn't need me fantasizing about him. there is just something sexy about a man on the run from the government who sleeps with a gun under his pillow. he always has a large supply of cash from a variety of countries and he can speak numerous foreign languages. the tight black t shirts don't hurt either.

Chuck Bass: our favorite bad boy, or at least mine. Chuck B is the master seducer of women of all ages, including our own baby B (Blair Waldorf). no one can resist the sly, foxy smile, large quantity of limitless plastic in his wallet and whispery voice, all which comes wrapped up in a perfectly tailored suit with a monogram scarf to top it off. ladies, don't be ashamed to admit you want to be the girl who wakes up in that penthouse suite at the palace hotel.

Edward Cullen: somewhat of a guilty pleasure, but cmon. how can you resist his chiseled body, epic circumstances, and vampire appeal? we all go batty for this hotty vamp. he has piercing eyes, a coy, mysterious smile, hair you can run your fingers through, and an almost scary commitment to the women he loves. his poster decorates the walls of many teens across the globe for a good reason. vampires are hot! (well really they are cold, but you understand)

Mr. Darcy: one word: ENIGMA. when they told us in Lit class that appearances can be deceiving, i think they were referring to the mysterious, confusing Mr. Darcy. he might act like he hates your guts but in reality he holds a passionate, burning love that is only for you. dark and brooding is fine with me and mr. darcy is all of the above.

Ron Weasley: squeamish about spiders, a complainer and a pessimist, but we still love our little won won because when it comes down to it, he is a truly brave Gryffindor. i don't know about you but i am a true sucker for that fiery red and hair and those cute little freckles. this silly but magical man surely makes my lion roar.

Indiana Jones: it's not everyday you find a guy who can wield both a sword and a whip and still manage to commandeer his jeep down a raging river. if you've got a craving for adventure, hottie Indiana Jones can surely satisfy it. ooh, and he's a professor. can you say hot for teacher?

Nick (of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist): he's the underdog but you want him to come on top, if you know what i mean. ha. sad little nicky is depressed about trish dumping him, but none of us would mind cheering him up. i love those semi-emo, indie boys. they are so delicate and you just want to make out passionately with them in the backseat of their yugos.

Trip Fontaine: if you don't know who this one is, Trip Fontaine is the school ditching, football playing, girl getting, hottie from The Virgin Suicides. his raspy, whispering voice will make your knees buckle, especially if he sits next to you in the auditorium and whispers in your ear "you're a stone fox". Trip, you can take me to the dance anytime.
